Instead of sending out Christmas cards, greenCrowd has donated funds to Eden Reforestation to plant 1,800 trees at the Mariarano Mangrove site northeast of Mahajanga in Madagascar. The benefits of planting mangroves include a lower risk of loss from drought, fire or floods and the provision of much-needed paid employment.
