This partnership was formalised by signing an MOU with Freeport East CEO Steve Beel. Together, our organisations aim to strengthen innovation networks in the East of England and enhance SME access to capital.

At the centre of this partnership is the Greencrowd Impact Fund (GIF), a platform initiative (anticipated launch in 2025 - watch this space 🚀) designed to bridge financing gaps for SMEs working on cutting-edge solutions in critical sustainability sectors. GIF's mission is to enable SMEs to scale their impactful solutions and drive progress toward net-zero goals by providing tailored commercial and financial support and leveraging regional innovation strengths.

GIF will focus on six key impact areas: Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Agriculture, Circular Economy, Carbon Reduction, and

Water Management.

This partnership, for which huge thanks go to Steve BeelSteven Wilson and Karthik Durgaprasad, is a milestone in advancing regional economic growth and sustainability.
